Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Apply

See a job you're interested in?  Just fill out our application and answer a few simple questions and your all set!
Stage 2

Application Review

Once we have received your application, we will review it.  If you are a potential match, we will contact you to schedule an interview.
Stage 3

Talk to a Recruiter

Your conversation with a recruiter will be on the phone and will take 10-15 minutes.  We'll ask you some questions about yourself and give you a chance to ask about us.  If we both agree it seems like a good fit, we will contact you to schedule an interview with the position's Supervisor.
Stage 4

In-person or Video Interview

Your interview will be with the position's direct supervisor and will take 30 - 60 minutes.  We want to hear all about your experience and what attracted you to Manhattan Youth.  We’ll also ask you some behavioral and situational questions.  You’ll get the chance to ask us  about the job and what it’s like to work with us.  
Stage 5

Offer

If everyone agrees you are a good fit, we'll send you an offer letter that includes your title, pay rate, location, and schedule.  Just accept the offer and you can start the onboarding process!  
Stage 6

Hired

Once you have accepted your offer, you can begin the new hire onboarding process.  Our onboarding process has government mandated components and must be completed before people can begin working at Manhattan Youth.  The process includes payroll paperwork, online training modules, fingerprinting, background checks, and references.
